I’ll keep this quick -- Elaine emailed you yesterday, and I wanted to bump her email to the top of your inbox because I think it’s so important that you read it.

We have to hit our FEC goal by midnight TONIGHT if we want to post strong enough numbers to show people Elaine can and will keep this seat blue. Right now, we have $2,043 left to raise.

You’ve been hearing from my team, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and DCCC Chair Sean Patrick Maloney about the importance of the upcoming FEC fundraising deadline -- but now I want you to hear directly from me.

I’m not a career politician -- I’m a veteran and former small business owner who wants to be able to look my daughter in the eye and say that I stepped forward when my country needed me the most.

And right now, I need you. Will you rush a contribution towards my end-of-quarter fundraising goal today?

I didn’t get to Congress by myself. Our team defied the odds and flipped VA-02 in 2018 because of supporters like you who refused to back down.

That’s also how we went toe-to-toe with the full force of the GOP establishment and millions in dark money to hold this seat in 2020.

This is one of the most competitive seats in the nation, and I’m truly relying on everyday people like you to help me defend it. So today, I’m asking if you will chip in $25 or more to keep us on track to hit my end-of-quarter fundraising goal?
