John, we’re down to the wire:

This is the first FEC end-of-quarter our campaign has faced since launching our campaign in August. I want to keep this short and give you three reasons why your contribution is crucial to our campaign.

1. We’re building a strong, progressive movement across South Texas. Last election, we saw the excitement to elect Jessica to Congress. This shows Texas is ready to put an end to the current status quo.
2. We need leaders in Congress who will bring bold change to our communities. Since Cuellar was elected, our district has been misled and left unheard. South Texans are hungry for progressive change. We need dedicated representation in Congress who will bring real solutions to our most urgent needs.
3. Our campaign is people-powered. My opponent is backed by private prisons, the anti-choice lobby, fossil fuels, and the banking industry. But Jessica isn’t taking a dime from any special interest groups because she’s working to represent you in Congress.

Our first FEC deadline is the most important because Cuellar and his conservative donors will be watching our numbers. We know they’ll underestimate us, but if we can post strong numbers, they’ll know we have the power of people by our side.
