We’ve had a summer of uncontrollable wildfires, cataclysmic hurricanes, and
extreme heat. It’s clear that we’re getting closer to this being our new daily reality,
unless Congress takes bold action now.

In Congress this week, the Build Back Better Act advanced out of House
committees with key investments in solving the climate crisis. It’s now headed
to the Senate and White House for review. This is our shot to make bold investments in clean, good paying jobs, and
environmental justice.



Reconciliation gives Congress one of the best opportunities to build a more
equitable, just, and inclusive clean energy economy, and we need your help in
demanding that your elected leaders prioritize bold climate action in
reconciliation.



But we need your support in ensuring climate change solutions remain in the
proposal. In order to address the climate crisis with the urgency and scale it
necessitates, here are the five priorities we’d like to see:

up to President Biden’s campaign promises to create a better future for all of
us.
