In my meeting Monday at the White House with President Trump, we talked about his many great accomplishments for the American people—six million new American jobs, record employment, securing our borders and banning sanctuary cities, cutting 20 regulations for every new one, lowering taxes, renegotiating bad trade deals, and putting American workers first.

The result of the meeting was clear: our legislative agenda is at risk because of the secret impeachment proceedings of Speaker Pelosi and Adam Schiff.

If President Trump has committed impeachable offenses, then why hide the information? Members of Congress have not been able to obtain and read full transcripts of the proceedings. Even worse, The American taxpayer is being kept in the dark.

But, the truth is they have no reason to impeach President Trump. He released the “controversial” transcript with the Ukrainian President. And, you know what? There is no controversy.

The “Kangaroo Court” impeachment proceedings are a farce and should end.

In the eyes of his opponents, the real reason behind the impeachment effort is that President Trump is doing exactly what he said he would do. Extreme liberal Democrats in Congress want to remove our duly elected President and reverse the 2016 election. They’ve even said as much, as several of the leading voices in the impeachment process have said they’re pushing impeachment, because they cannot afford to have President Trump win in 2020. This is all about politics.
