This deadline has taken on a new meaning in the last couple weeks. For starters, it’s our first FEC report since we found out that Mike now has TWO Republican opponents campaigning against him.
We also just got word that the California GOP has made it their goal to win the Majority and secure the Speaker’s gavel for Kevin McCarthy. Their work starts by flipping competitive seats like Mike’s in CA-49.
We set out to raise $35,000 in online contributions before this deadline. That's hefty, but the good news is that we are well within reach -- only $11,765 left to raise.

When this report is public, everyone will sift through the numbers carefully. Pundits will evaluate our performance to determine how competitive the district is, and Republicans will look for signs of weakness to determine whether it's time to send in their dark money PACs to attack Mike.
