We’re coming up on an important fundraising deadline tomorrow at midnight.
I’m sure you’ve been hearing a lot about the “FEC deadline” and “end of
quarter” in your inbox these last few days — without much explanation of
what those terms actually mean. So I wanted to take a moment to explain
why this deadline is so important.
The Federal Election Commission is tasked with compiling and reporting
campaign finance data. And four times a year, campaigns are required to
submit a report of what they’ve raised in the previous quarter (the past
three months).
These reports are incredibly important for grassroots campaigns like ours
that don’t take any corporate PAC money — because our fundraising power is
compared to establishment campaigns that rely on corporate and lobbyist
funding.
A strong Q3 fundraising report from our campaign this month will show just
how powerful our small-dollar, grassroots movement for equity and justice
has become.
You
have yet to make a contribution this quarter. A $3
contribution from you today would send a powerful message to opponents who
are trying to take Ayanna down.

Deadline: September 30 at 11:59 PM
[ [link removed] ]Can we count on your
$3
contribution right now to show Republicans and the right-wing
establishment just how strong our grassroots movement has become?

$3
With Republicans and dark money groups already spending thousands of
dollars attacking Ayanna this year — we must do everything we can to fight
back.
Thank you for stepping up today,
