Debbie Stabenow here. I’m really concerned for my friend, Dan Kildee. As we approach our critical FEC deadline in just a few days, Cook Political Report announced that his reelection is at high risk thanks to redistricting -- plus his seat is already only a D+1 district (a true tossup!)

That is not just a big deal for Dan, but for control of Congress, which is hanging in the balance by the slimmest of margins next year. Last quarter, Republicans outraised us and brought in record sums of money.

Now, with our Federal Election Commission (FEC) deadline just days away, we must show that Michigan Democrats are united to protect and expand our Democratic majorities. Will you do your part by splitting a donation between Dan’s campaign and mine right now? Any amount helps in our key battleground state.

This is the first FEC deadline since the Independent Redistricting Commission started drawing the congressional maps, so it’s more important than ever that we prove Democrats are ready to handle whatever comes our way.
