We’re gearing up for what is certainly a busy end of September.

While Democrats on Capitol Hill work day and night to finalize and pass the infrastructure bill and the Build Back Better package, we’re fighting to elect more Democrats across the country.

The work never stops — locally or nationally. Off-years are nonexistent. Right now is when we do the work to maintain and grow our Democratic majorities in Congress. Right now is when we do the work to flip states like Texas from red to blue. It’s our time, right now.

The progressive policies we’re championing aren’t just popular amongst Americans. They’re extremely popular. Yet we find ourselves stuck in bad-faith negotiations with Republican lawmakers — and, frankly, some centrist Democrats — who’d rather protect the wealthy and huge corporations than the working class and the poor.

The elections over the coming months and years will determine whether we can get big things done, but only if we do our part to ensure more progressive voices have a seat at the table. And with Republicans eyeing a power grab in next year’s midterms by any means necessary, we have no choice but to organize in preparation for what’s to come.
