Good afternoon friend,
I hope you're taking care of yourself and enjoying this lovely fall weather.
THIS SATURDAY: RALLY FOR ABORTION JUSTICE!
As a result of the Texas abortion ban that went into effect September 1 and the Supreme Court's decision to hear a direct challenge to Roe v. Wade later this year, ARC-Southeast, Mississippi in Action, the National Latina Institute for Reproductive Justice, Planned Parenthood, SHERo, SisterSong and the Women's March, along with other allies, are joining together alongside many other partners for a national call to action on October 2, just days before the U.S. Supreme Court's 2021-2022 session begins.
Our goal: To demonstrate clearly and unequivocally that we will not allow for abortion to be outlawed in this country and we will fight to protect, defend, and expand access to abortion for everyone, no matter what.
Join us! We're excited to be a part of this coalition effort, and PPADMV and PPMW will meet up in the southwest corner of Freedom Plaza, in front of the Wilson Building at 1350 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20004.
