John,
The next few days in Congress may be the most consequential of Joe Biden's presidency. It is not an overstatement to say that our entire human needs investment agenda is on the line.
There are two major developments. One is on the infrastructure bill, which is scheduled for a vote this week. The other is a framework agreement on the Build Back Better Act, which is our historic human needs investment agenda.
We can't let the House of Representatives move forward on the infrastructure bill before agreeing to a robust Build Back Better investment agenda. If we do, we will sacrifice the leverage we need to ensure the Build Back Better Act is as big and bold as possible.
We have to HOLD THE LINE. We have to stand firm.
Do you have 1 minute today to call your U.S. representative at 1-888-516-5820 and tell them to support the full Build Back Better Act and to raise these critical funds by making the rich and corporations pay their fair share? Tell them not to vote for the infrastructure bill until the Build Back Better Act framework is secured.

Here is what is at stake:
We must achieve progress in our shared human needs agenda to invest in health care, education, housing, nutrition, monthly payments to families of 60 million children, the environment and so much more. To get this done, we have to Hold the Line and remind Congress that this historic investment can be completely paid for by making the rich and corporations pay their fair share.
CHN is working with our national grassroots coalition and our progressive champions in Congress to demand that House members Hold The Line—and fight to go big and bold on the Build Back Better investment agenda.
To power our efforts in directing thousands of calls and letters to U.S. representatives, can you chip in $5 or more today? We’re demanding the U.S. House secure a firm Build Back Better agenda framework before they pass the bipartisan infrastructure bill.
If infrastructure is voted on before moderates and progressives agree on the details of the Build Back Better Act, we’ll lose all of the leverage we have with corporate Democrats to raise the critical funds necessary to invest in our future.
The next few days are incredibly consequential to the fate of our Build Back Better investment agenda. Votes are expected as soon as tomorrow in the House of Representatives. We need to keep fighting to demand Congress listen to the American people, and pass this historic investment agenda.
Thank you for all you do to demand accountability from our elected leaders and to fight for the needs of working families, the vulnerable, the sick and the poor.
