There are plenty of Democrats organizing in and fundraising for battleground states in preparation for 2022, but what about the states that have been deemed “too red?”
When we write off these states, we abandon the activists, organizers, and working families who are facing some of the most regressive, anti-democracy policies in the nation. And that doesn’t just impact the people that live in those places; it reverberates across the country and stalls progress for us all. We’ve seen that in stark display this year when it comes to trans equality, reproductive justice – and voting rights.
That’s what inspired Groundwork Project to help launch Give Us The Ballot – a new campaign focused on funding local organizers fighting the GOP’s voter suppression efforts on the frontlines.
Your continued support allows us to build innovative campaigns like this one and to funnel critical resources not just to essential battlegrounds – but to regions that Democrats tend to ignore. Give now so Groundwork can invest in building the xxxxxx we need to fight voter suppression and other regressive GOP policies all across the country. [[link removed]]
We started Groundwork Project because we believe that dramatic, year-round investment in local community organizers is the best way to remedy injustice, build power in disenfranchised communities – and win elections.
Donate here to our GWP Grant Fund and we will funnel your contribution to places where it can help build the political power we need for a more progressive future. [[link removed]]

I am endlessly inspired by the organizers that I have met so far in Alabama, Mississippi and West Virginia who have never given up on building a better future for their families – regardless of party strategy. It is an honor to support their work.
I hope you’ll join me.
Joe
