Of the many wonderful things about Seth that people may not know, remembering birthdays is at the top of that list.

I will often overhear Seth on a quick call, wishing someone “Happy Birthday!” — and then checking in on a new job, or a new addition to the family, or how their parents are doing.

Seth knows the birthdays of volunteers who worked on his first campaign, friends from middle school, colleagues in Congress.

It’s part of what makes Seth so special — he’s full of care and support for others. He gets excited when the birthday reveler picks up the phone, and he gets even more excited when we can celebrate birthdays in person, over a home-cooked meal and with his favorite birthday cake recipe (courtesy of his mom).
