We can hardly believe it, team.

Governor Kim Reynolds recently said she's "proud to be a governor who places her trust in the people."

With election year around the corner, Reynolds is pretending like she actually cares about local governance, she's denying that the COVID-19 pandemic hasn't been an absolute disaster for our state, and she's distracting from the hypocrisy of her administration.

That's her playbook for re-election and if you're ready to chip in $5 right now, Ras can use it before the end of the month to help set the record straight with Iowa voters.

Here are the facts:

» Just a few weeks ago, a federal judge issued a restraining order that stopped Reynolds from enforcing her ban on mask mandates. At least 24 school districts have implemented them since then.

» Reynolds rejected $95 million for testing and contact tracing. She BANNED daily reporting of COVID-19 numbers and her spokesperson has pushed discredited information about masks.

» And here's the icing on the cake, friend: Reynolds used nearly $450,000 in COVID-19 relief money to cover salaries and benefits for staff working in her office, and then turned around and prevented child care providers from using that very same money for… increased pay.

This isn't the type of leadership you'd expect from someone who supposedly trusts the people -- it's more pandering to the far-right so she can advance her own career at the expense of our health and safety.

Iowa deserves better. Ras has a proven record fighting for kids and working families -- now we need your help in making sure more people know that he's taking on Kim Reynolds.
