There’s no doubt Republicans will be keeping a watchful eye on Lucy’s fundraising totals at this deadline when they go public. They badly want to take her out, so we all need to do our part to keep Lucy where she belongs: fighting for all of us in Washington.

I’ve seen Lucy work up close and I’m always impressed. She’s been a strong advocate for Georgia’s families, small businesses, and front-line workers throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. What’s more, her continued leadership will be key to protecting every American family from the gun violence that robbed Lucy’s family of her son, Jordan.

That’s why the NRCC, NRA, the gun lobby writ large, and every other GOP group will be lining up to try taking back her seat in Congress. They know Lucy can’t be bought, so they’re going to try to buy this election instead, taking their pick from her five different potential Republican opponents to keep in their pocket while they’re at it.
