Dominic Bradley, a RiseOut Activist-in-Residence Fellow with The Center, is seeking three panelists for an upcoming event about transgenerational beliefs, practices, and rituals that have sustained our community in the face of oppression. Would you like to join as a panelist?
This is part of Dominic’s mental health initiative entitled goodbye to old lives: a mood. In keeping with the focus of the Activist-in-Residence Fellowship, panelists must identify as BIPOC and LGBTQ+, and reside in New York State. Panelists will receive $150 for their participation. Please email Dominic if you are interested, or reach out to us at [email protected] if you have any questions. The panel will run about 1-2 hours, and will be recorded in fall 2021 (specific date TBD). Panelists’ conversation will center around the quote, "As you focus on clearing your generational trauma,
do not forget to claim your generational strengths. Your ancestors gave you more than just wounds."

Get Involved & Make Change
New York has a lot on the horizon: Mayoral elections in NYC this fall, and a new statewide legislative session in January, bringing with it new laws and policies. We need your help to make sure LGBTQ folks across the state can have their voices heard and their needs met. So get involved: join us as a volunteer, brush up on your advocacy skills, or sign on as an official partner of RiseOut.
