I’m State Senator Kelda Roys, and was previously the Executive Director for NARAL Pro-Choice Wisconsin. Earlier this year, I had the honor to endorse Tom Nelson for the United States Senate. I’ve known Tom for over 17 years, and one of his greatest strengths is his courage — even when it could have ended his political career.
Despite representing a red area, Tom has always been a stalwart champion of women’s rights and reproductive justice. Unlike other Democrats in the legislature, I never had to question where Tom stood on abortion rights when he was in the Assembly, even though he represented a conservative district. Tom voted pro-choice every single time — even when other Democrats caved, and even when he knew it might cost him his seat.
With the sad anniversary of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg’s passing last week, it’s absolutely critical that we focus on electing a US Senator who will defend
Roe v. Wade and reproductive freedom. Tom has proven again and again that he stands with women — not the anti-choice forces who want to take us backwards.
We can’t give Ron Johnson another six years to attack our rights and health care. The outrageous Texas abortion ban rewarding bounty hunters who go after anyone assisting women in accessing abortion care shows what’s at stake.
We need to elect Tom to the United States Senate — our fundamental rights depend on it.
Will you chip in right now to support Tom’s campaign and rid the United States Senate of Ron Johnson?

I am 100% certain that Tom is the US Senator that Wisconsin needs to fight for all of us and stand up to special interests. Tom knows that restricting healthcare access disproportionately harms marginalized people, like young people, people of color, low income people, and LGBTQ+ people.
His support for Medicare for All proves that he is ready to fix our broken for-profit healthcare system.

Thank you for stepping up,
