Allow me to introduce myself! My name is Kevin Schilling, and I'm Derek's new political director. I'm so excited to be on Team Kilmer and to be working for such a dedicated public servant.
In this new position, I've already seen firsthand just how hard Derek works to deliver results to his constituents -- and to all American families. He's fighting to create affordable housing, protect our climate, invest in our schools, and so much more.
We're all better off for having Derek in Congress where he's fighting hard for each and every one of us. But keeping Derek there next year is going to take resources, and that's why I'm reaching out to you today.

Here's what I can tell you: tomorrow's deadline is a big deal. After tomorrow's deadline our finance team will be filing our quarterly fundraising numbers with the Federal Election Commission and those numbers will be made viewable to the public. That means anyone who wants to -- members of the press, political opponents, pollsters, etc. -- can see how much we've raised.
If our numbers are strong, it will send a strong message that this grassroots team has what it takes to win.
