Help us get out of the vote in key geographies in Washington State! Voting access is representative justice. [[link removed]]

John,

Voting access is a crucial aspect of getting voters mobilized and electing environmental leaders to local government.

As the general election edges closer, we are working to make sure that communities across the state have the information and resources they need to receive and turn in their ballots.

Will you step up and help get out the vote? Your membership contribution will ensure we can support and elect candidates who are bold leaders on environmental action. [[link removed]]

At WCV, our organizers are hard at work mobilizing communities across the state in places like Vancouver and the Tri-Cities.

Our team of talented and savvy Organizers and interns are planning ballot parties, hosting get out the vote education efforts with community partners, and recruiting volunteers for virtual phone banks and text banks for pro-environment candidates running in local elections.

Your membership will ensure that communities have their voices heard through the candidates they elect. Local elections are often lost by a small margin of votes. Your membership is the key to turning out hundreds of extra votes in key races. [[link removed]]

Voting power is people power, and you are part of the momentum that brings thoughtful, bold leadership to the forefront of our local governments.

In Clark County, WCV has been instrumental in supporting candidates like Port Commissioner Don Orange, who partnered with a coalition of labor unions and environmental groups to prevent fossil fuel export facilities. This year we’re getting out the vote for candidates like Diana Perez and Kim Harless, who are running strong pro-labor and pro-environment campaigns for Vancouver City Council.

Grassroots organizing can build the power needed to elect the leaders who will actively fight for the health of our communities and our environment, both of which are intertwined.

By becoming a member, you are part of this grassroots movement to build power and momentum for environmental change. When you join now, your membership will be matched! [[link removed]]

Together we can continue bolstering environmental champions who will lead our communities into a more sustainable future where we all thrive.

Sincerely,

Kat Holmes

Field Director
