Nancy Pelosi and Democratic leadership are floating the idea of caving to corporate lobbyists by voting on the corporate-backed infrastructure bill first — which would almost certainly mean that Bernie’s budget would die without passage.
It’s no secret why: while Bernie’s budget — the most significant investment in working Americans in decades — is wildly popular, it’s paid for by making the wealthy and big corporations pay their fair share. With the vote scheduled for tomorrow, now is the time to fight back.
