I know you’re getting a lot of emails about Terry’s upcoming fundraising deadline, so I wanted to explain why it’s so important.

Terry’s opponent bought the Republican nomination by spending millions from his personal fortune on his campaign. Now, it looks like Glenn Youngkin is trying to buy the governor’s office too.

In fact, Youngkin’s latest financial disclosure showed he recently wrote millions of dollars in checks to his campaign.

Unlike his opponent, Terry’s campaign is fueled by grassroots support. To date, he has received more than 130,000 contributions from tens of thousands of small-dollar donors who chip in $5 or $15 when they can.

It’s the right way to run a campaign, but with polls showing a close race, we have to keep it going. If Terry misses even one goal, he’ll have to start making cuts to his voter outreach and TV ad budgets.
