John,
You’ve joined the river conservation movement at an exciting time. Right now, we’re involved in critical projects from coast to coast. From guarding wild places like the Grand Canyon to removing hazardous dams across the U.S., we’re committed to protecting rivers and communities nationwide.
Over the next couple years, we’re also making a big push to protect 5,000 miles of Wild and Scenic Rivers in time for the for the 50th anniversary of the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act.

I am excited about everything that lies ahead, but every day more and more river habitat is damaged, dammed up or destroyed. And every day, we fight special interests that want to roll back critical environmental protections like the Clean Water Act or Endangered Species Act (ESA). That’s why, every day, we’re on the job to protect and restore our nation's rivers.
We’ve set an ambitious but achievable goal of 100 new members for this month. If we reach our goal, we’ll be able to invest in team capacity and be ready to immediately respond to new threats when it matters most.
Will you give on behalf of our nation’s rivers? Every gift adds up to make a significant difference in our work to protect rivers and your clean water.
Thank you for all you do. Together, we will make a far-reaching, long-lasting impact for our rivers. |
