Operations and Technology
Logistics operators are posting ads on social media, raising pay and offering flexible hours to recruit more workers for the busy holiday season, but they face competition from big players such as Amazon, Walmart and UPS. "There is a huge amount of demand for jobs and people, and we have not shifted people across into our industry at the rate that demand has changed," said Kraig Foreman, president of e-commerce for DHL Supply Chain North America.
