Living with Teenagers: Help is at hand!
It's not just you! We all know that parenting teenagers can be a challenge at times, so life at home may sometimes be a little difficult.
In this fun and interactive five part course you will be introduced to skills and ideas to help rebuild your confidence in being a parent or carer and look at some of the common issues you may face.
To fit in with your busy lives we are running sessions in the morning or the afternoon for you to choose from.
Morning sessions: 10am - 12pm at Strelley Road Library, Tuesday 5, 12, 19, 26 November and 3 December.
Afternoon sessions: 2pm - 4pm at Bulwell Riverside Library, Tuesday 5, 12, 19, 26 November and 3 December.
Let's build your computer confidence in this fun and interactive six-week beginner’s course 'Community Learning: Computers and Programming.
If you’ve never seen or worked with programming languages before and always wanted to, then this course is for you! Basic experience of using computers and web browsers is required.
Gain confidence, skills and the knowledge to design, build and create your own website in this small and friendly course.
This hands-on six week course will take you from total beginner to making your own website using WordPress, one of the world’s leading website builders.
Getting out and about and doing activities can be more difficult for families with an autistic child.
Our Autism Friendly Family Fun sessions are designed especially for children with Autism and their families. Relax and enjoy the library facilities and activities such as LEGO, crafts, puzzles and jigsaws.

Using previously recorded interviews, Mo Cooper talks about the opportunities and challenges for Nottingham women during WWII - from "the most exciting job they had", to serving 5 million cups of tea at Newark Station! £2 a ticket, pay on the day. Aspley Library Craft Fair: Saturday 9 November, 9.30am - 12pm. Support local traders and browse a variety of craft stalls including textiles, jewellery, cards, and ceramics.
