You may have heard that Trump came to town this past weekend to promote the Big Lie and rally with his three hand-picked stooges in Georgia. He spent most of his time spreading the dangerous Big Lie that he won Georgia in 2020 (he didn’t) and attacking the current Secretary of State (a Republican) for refusing to overturn the election in his favor.
Even though Trump continues to talk about how he really won last year, he doesn’t truly believe he can overturn the 2020 election. What he’s actually trying to do is install his loyalists in positions of power so they can manipulate his next election.

The Republican Party is now the party of Trump. Extremists like Matt Gaetz and Marjorie Taylor Greene are entering Congress while GOP officials like Anthony Gonzalez, who voted to impeach Trump, are being forced to retire early. And Trump is supporting a challenge to Sec. Raffensperger from a candidate who has called the Biden win in Georgia a sham.
He’s on the record saying he would overturn the results of a free and fair election in favor of Trump. This is dangerous, and we can’t allow it to happen without a fight.
