Here at Groundwork, we are really excited to be teaming up with some amazing partners to launch Give Us The Ballot – a new campaign to fund local organizers on the frontlines of the fight for voting rights.
I hope you didn’t miss the launch because four organizations in Groundwork partner states are on the grantee list: Mississippi Votes, For West Virginia's Future, West Virginia Can't Wait, and Alabama Forward Action. We love these groups and have seen first-hand the incredible work they are doing to combat suppression, build power for the disenfranchised, and secure a more progressive future for their states.

At Groundwork, we focus on the three toughest spots in the country for Democrats: the Plains, Appalachia, & the Deep South. Not surprisingly, these regions are home to some of the most aggressive and egregious voter suppression efforts across the country – which is why supporting the groups on the ground fighting back is so critical.
