Happy National Voter Registration Day!

Dear Friends,

Today is the perfect day to register to vote or update your voter registration. And the timing couldn't be better. Why's that? Two reasons.

1. Last week, Alaina Reaves finished in the top 2 in the race for Clayton County Commissioner for District 1 in Georgia! She's now headed to a runoff election on Tuesday, October 19th. Early voting begins October 12th.

2. Early voting is underway in Virginia and the deadline to register to vote or update an existing registration is October 12th. But you have until October 30th to cast a ballot for:

• Irene Shin in the 86th House of Delegates District
• Lashrecse D. Aird in the 63rd House of Delegates District
• Elizabeth Guzman in the 31st House of Delegates District

If you're outside of Georgia and Virginia, there's a good chance you also have local and/or state elections coming up. You can check here.
