Democrats have gotten a lot done for our country this year — from helping vaccinate millions against COVID-19, to delivering economic relief for small businesses and families and cutting down child poverty. This week we’re working to build on that progress by trying to pass the Build Back Better agenda. It includes important measures like investments in education and an expansion of Medicare. Most urgently, it would address the climate crisis like the emergency it is — creating lots of good-paying jobs, supporting widespread electrification of homes and businesses, and preserving our public lands for future generations. But we need to build on our, frankly, razor-thin majorities in Congress if we’re going to keep up this work to improve lives and livelihoods. Our campaign is working to help re-elect senators in battleground states like Raphael Warnock and Mark Kelly, and re-take House seats in close districts like in Gabe Vasquez’s race in New Mexico.
