Today is National Voter Registration Day, a day to celebrate our democracy by committing to getting people to the polls.

And I know personally why it’s so important to get Democrats out to vote.

I ran for Congress in 2018, and we came up less than one percentage point away from victory.

If just 1680 more voters got to the polls, Ohio families would have another Democrat in Congress fighting for them, instead of a Republican fighting for huge corporations.

From printing yard signs, to running ads, to hiring organizers — turning out voters costs a lot of money.
