This package covers climate change, healthcare, immigration, and more, so it’s vitally important it moves forward

Indivisibles,

You may have seen the news that yesterday Nancy Pelosi signaled she wants to undo a months-long strategy of keeping the Bipartisan Infrastructure Framework and the reconciliation bill linked.

What does that mean for our strategy? Actually, not that much. The three big prongs of our work on reconciliation -- bucking up progressives, holding conservative Dems accountable, and doing targeted outreach in key committees -- are still exactly what we need to do to ensure progressives use their strong position to prioritize the transformative measures in the reconciliation bill. Our best chance at delivering a robust and inclusive recovery package is still in the strategy progressives outlined months ago, and we’re backing them up every step of the way.

To do that, we’re going all-out to help the progressive caucus to hold the line -- running ads, supporting phonebanks, developing toolkits, and more to ensure we’ve left no stone unturned. Chip in $10 to fund this campaign and all our work for a more progressive future.

This package covers climate change, healthcare, immigration, and more, so it’s vitally important it moves forward. That’s why over the next few days, in addition to keeping up the pressure on the House to pass this key piece of legislation, we’re also beginning to turn our attention to the Senate to make sure they pass it and invest in the people as soon as possible.

With Kyrsten Sinema positioning herself as one of the key holdouts among Senate Democrats, we’re focusing a big push on mobilizing her constituents in Arizona to show her how important a bold reconciliation package is. So we’ve just approved budget to buy splashy ads on Arizona’s second-biggest news site (plus new rapid response Facebook ads), drive calls, create new graphics, and more -- to the tune of $25,000. Can you help us cover this unexpected cost? Click here to donate $10 today to pressure Kyrsten Sinema and all Senate Dems to vote yes on the reconciliation package, fight for investments in the people, and power all our work.

In solidarity,
