Senator Kyrsten Sinema’s behavior is the perfect example of why Americans are disgusted with our political system.
Despite the vast majority of her voters supporting President Biden’s Build Back Better budget to lower prescription medication prices, reduce child poverty, increase access to healthcare, expand education opportunities, guarantee paid leave, and increase taxes on the rich, she’s using her power to try to kill the President’s plan.
Senator Sinema isn’t driven by what her voters think. To her and so many corporate Democrats, it’s all about the money.
Today she is making that blatant by attending a fundraiser put on by Big Pharma, corporate lobbying PACs, and other special interests who are spending big to stop Build Back Better and prevent new taxes on the rich.
John, unlike my opponents, I’m not taking corporate PAC money because I plan on working for the voters as Senator — not powerful special interests.
