John: Earlier this month, a crowd of white nationalists once again invaded Washington, D.C. They demanded “justice” for the violent insurrectionists who were arrested after attacking the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6. 

While we're relieved that this recent white nationalist gathering did not erupt in bloody violence, and was a much smaller group, we can’t ignore the outsized influence of the far right and its continued threat to our country, our neighbors, and ourselves. That’s why Emerge is challenging the politics that brought us to this point. And we’re doing that by electing transformational women leaders all over the country.

We must expand our critical programming to train Democratic women to run for office and win. But we’re still falling short of our end-of-quarter goal, and we need 300 more donors to help us get back on track by 11:59 p.m. on Thursday. John: Will you donate $5 or more now to help us elect Democratic women up and down the ballot in every state?

We’re training and empowering Democratic women to run for office and win, but we refuse to stop at a single election cycle or an individual candidate. We’re building a network of bold Democratic women and packing the political pipeline from school boards to state houses. We’re determined to repower our entire political structure because that’s how we’ll defeat Republican extremism and win lasting transformation.
