[2]National Nurses United
Last week, we officially kicked off our second-ever Medicare for All
Leadership School with 45 volunteer leaders who are taking their skills to
the next level. Together they are growing and developing their confidence
as organizers and getting prepared to lead the fight for Medicare for All
in their communities.
These 45 volunteer leaders span all ages and geographies from Brooklyn,
NY, to Kansas City, MO, to Birmingham, AL, and include nurses and
non-nurses alike.
Say hello to (just some of!) our newest cohort of students!

Over the next two months, we’ll be working with participants to grow the
fight for Medicare for All in each of their respective communities.
If you’re
interested in workshops, trainings, group projects, and virtual events to
become an even more effective agent of change in the fight to win Medicare
for All, we’d love to have you join our next cohort of the Medicare for
All Leadership School!

School Interest Form? From there, we’ll make sure you’re the first to know
when the application period for the next session opens in a few months.

The program requires a dedication of about 5 hours per week, and people of
color, women, and those with firsthand experience of our broken health
care system are encouraged to apply.
We’ll be back soon with more updates from the leadership school — but for
right now, we’re so grateful to this movement and all of the people like
you who step up everyday to make this work possible.
Together, we know we’ll win health care for all.
With appreciation,
