Anyone will tell you, WomenHeart Champions are the heart of WomenHeart. It is so important to invest in these women living with heart disease. They volunteer their time and talents to support, educate and advocate for other women in their community, making them inspirations to so many to live heart healthy lives.

That is why, starting this month, WomenHeart is bringing together hundreds of WomenHeart Champions virtually to receive continued and enhanced training. WomenHeart's unique and empowering curriculum, developed with the Mayo Clinic, will enable these trained leaders to engage more fully in all aspects of the education and support WomenHeart provides.

This refresher builds upon our annual Science & Leadership Symposium which otherwise trains new Champions to educate, connect, and empower women with heart disease - the leading cause of death of women.
