Rebalancing the Supreme Court: Why Progressives Must Take Back the [Stolen] Court to Save Our Democracy
Plenary Session, Friday, 5 p.m. ET
Co-hosted by Take Back The Court Executive Director Sarah Lipton-Lubet and Rep. Mondaire Jones, this keynote panel featuring Sen. Tina Smith will discuss the urgent need to rebalance the stolen Supreme Court in order to protect democracy and preserve the essential rights of all Americans. You’ll also hear from Rep. Barbara Lee, who will speak about this critical intersection between protecting our democracy and passing progressive policy.
Environmental Justice and the Politics of Equity
Keynote Panel, Friday, 11:30 a.m. ET
Rep. Raul M. Grijalva, Rep. Katie Porter, Catherine Flowers, Marci Harris and Elizabeth Yeampierre will discuss the Environmental Justice for All Act and the evolving politics of environmental justice.
On Offense: How Dem AGs are Advancing Progressive Values in a Biden-Harris Administration
Keynote Panel, Friday, 11:30 a.m. ET
Minnesota AG Keith Ellison, Michigan AG Dana Nessel, North Carolina AG Josh Stein and Massachusetts AG Maura Healey will discuss how they are championing progressive priorities in their states under a new administration.
Other confirmed speakers include Rep. Ayanna Pressley, Rep. Earl Blumenauer, Rep. Jamie Raskin, Wisconsin Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes, and Secretaries of State Shenna Bellows, Jena Griswold, Denise Merrill and Jocelyn Benson—and we're adding more speakers every day.
All 120+ hours of programming—trainings, panels, and featured content—can be accessed through the convention app either live or after the event is over. Attendees can also connect with other attendees through text and video chats, post to our social wall, and add ideas to our virtual brainstorming whiteboard.
