Folks, I’ve heard what the skeptics are saying about my race.

As we approach our end-of-quarter goal, they’re saying we might not have the energy to take this fight all the way — which is a bunch of baloney. I’ll let you in on a few hints on why it’s not a good idea to underestimate our campaign.

1. My team and I were underestimated in 2018 when we first ran to flip this state blue. Skeptics were saying it was too close to call but, we kept our heads down and did the organizing work that mattered.
2. Our grassroots team of supporters has only continued to grow since that point. And here we are again with some folks already counting us out. Have they learned nothing about what we’re capable of from 2018?!

Team, can you chip in to help my campaign prove the pundits wrong by reaching our end-of-quarter goal and giving us the fuel we need to get to the finish line?

Don’t get me wrong, folks. This race is absolutely going to be a close one. That said, I’m not in the business of letting people count out the movement that supporters — like you! — have helped us build. And for those who do count us out, they’re making a big mistake!

I won my last race by a little over four points and it could be even closer this time around. But, I know my supporters will pull through to help us reach our end-of-quarter goal, putting us on a trajectory that’s closest to victory.
