Dear John,
This past summer, you noticed how hundreds of corporate logos "turned rainbow" for about 30 days on social media. When "Pride Month" in June ended without the Equality Act moving forward, many breathed a sigh of relief.
But we must not think for a second that the threat of this proposed bill is over. Throughout the summer, radical special-interest LGBT activists continued to advocate for the Equality Act.
The Equality Act is one of the most dangerous pieces of legislation ever put forward in Congress.
If enacted, it would massively overhaul our federal civil rights framework in order to mandate special privileges for sexual orientation and gender identity, expand abortion access, and gut current religious liberty protections.
Family Research Council has been at the forefront of a national movement to educate and activate Americans in opposition of this dangerous bill that the Biden-Harris administration has called its "number one priority."
Your generous gift today will support FRC's multipronged strategies as we work in the media, at the state and local level, and with true conservatives on Capitol Hill to defend our cherished freedoms. Will you stand with us?

One of the most deeply troubling aspects of the Equality Act is how it champions the "transition" of children from their biological sex using puberty blockers. Such treatments -- which cause permanent, irreparable bodily damage -- are not approved by the FDA.
Yet such interventions have been stealthily introduced by a faction in the medical field, including at Cincinnati Children's Hospital.
When an Ohio megachurch sought to address these issues from a biblical worldview during services, radical activists pounced.
On July 18, Crossroads Church in Cincinnati invited an expert from the Center for Christian Virtue -- a state policy group affiliated with FRC -- to discuss these troubling issues briefly during Sunday services. Congregants applauded his insights.
A local LGBT activist group got wind of that presentation and rounded up protesters to appear at the church the next Sunday. The church faced backlash for being too political and daring to talk about gender and sexuality from a biblical perspective.
State policy groups like the Center for Christian Virtue are voices crying in the wilderness, speaking truth in a culture of lies.
In fact, the head of that group, Aaron Baer, has joined me on FRC's Washington Watch to share how much FRC's stand matters. "There is no national organization with the size and scope of FRC that -- when crisis breaks at the local level -- is quicker to jump in," he said on-air.
"For that, I will always be thankful for your willingness to use your tremendous resources to get the word out and get people activated," Baer told me.
His remarks are a reminder of the impact your support is making in the nation. A critical means by which FRC activates people is through Washington Watch, currently aired on nearly 800 outlets nationwide as well as on HisChannel and Liftable TV.
During this critical moment -- with leftist radicals seeking any opportunity to pass the Equality Act -- your generous support enables FRC to stand strong for our freedoms! Will you partner with us today?

Our flagship national program is only one among several strategies to bolster our allies in the halls of power and inform believers like you.
Today, the media reports that 547 left-wing groups are working overtime to get the Equality Act enacted into law.
Do religious liberty and truth have anyone fighting the good fight?
We can confirm there are at least a faithful few, and FRC -- backed by your prayers and support -- is leading the charge.
We must remain vigilant.
As I shared with you last week, some are shifting their focus to a so-called "compromise" bill called the Fairness for All Act. This ill-advised and poorly drafted bill would fail to prevent the harms that would be inflicted by the Equality Act.
Family Research Council is among a small remnant calling out both bills as dangerous threats to religious liberty, women's rights, children's health, parental rights, the medical profession's conscience rights, and more.
The truth is that these bills would leave many to suffer the consequences, including women, children, medical professionals, parents, teachers, students, families (including small business owners), the unborn, churches, religious organizations and schools, and all people of faith.
Despite the challenges we face, we have hope because God is good and His word is true. Thank you for your faithful partnership that enables FRC to be a light and witness in the culture.
