John — Earlier this year, I filed suit against Mo Brooks and several others for their roles in inciting the January 6 insurrection.

I filed suit because Mo Brooks told a crowd of Trump supporters that January 6 was the day for “American patriots to start taking names and kicking ass. ” Shortly after, this very same crowd stormed the Capitol.

After dodging my team for months as we tried to locate and serve him this lawsuit, Mo finally responded, but refused to take any responsibility for his actions and even asked for immunity from my suit (spoiler: it was denied).

Elected officials who invoke violence or sympathize with domestic terrorists should not be members of Congress. They should be held accountable for their words and actions.

As if that wasn’t bad enough: When a domestic terrorist threatened to bomb the Capitol just a few months later, Mo actually tweeted out his sympathies for the guy. Remember this?

Mo clearly didn’t learn his lesson on January 6.
