Here at Conservation Voters of PA, we believe the best way to make your voice heard is to vote — but you can’t do that if you’re not registered. According to last year’s Census data, as many as 1 in 4 eligible Americans are not registered to vote — and 60% of eligible voters are never even asked to register!

That’s why we’re a proud supporter of National Voter Registration Day, which is today! This nonpartisan civic holiday is organized by thousands of volunteers, nonprofit organizations, businesses, schools, libraries, election officials, and other folks who care about our democracy.

Here’s how you can be a part of this amazing day:
– Register to vote online right now [[link removed]]: it’s simple, it’s free, and it’s secure! If you’ve moved or changed your name since the last election, you must update your registration, and you can use the same link to do so. You can also check your status here [[link removed]] if you’re not sure if you’re registered.
– Spread the word: Once you make sure you’re registered, forward this email to three friends, ask them to join you, and use #NationalVoterRegistrationDay and #VoteReady in all of your social media posts.

Each year, millions of Americans find themselves unable to vote simply because they miss a registration deadline, don’t update their registration status, or don’t know how to register. We must do everything we can to make sure that every eligible voter has the tools they need to make their voices heard.

By engaging thousands of community and online partners and volunteers in a massive single-day event, we can saturate the media and reach thousands of new voters who haven’t yet registered or need to update their registration before November’s election.
