Following the recent earthquake in Haiti, Mercy Corps team members distributed kits with essential supplies, such as water purification tablets, soap, diapers, mosquito nets, and tarps.
During a crisis, we execute our emergency response protocols, focusing on meeting immediate needs, often distributing emergency kits, water, and cash vouchers to help families and communities get back on their feet. After the initial crisis, we continue supporting communities like those across the Caribbean, helping them become better prepared for disasters and investing in people’s livelihoods through small business support, cash vouchers, and job training.
