Madison Cawthorn, one of the most radical Republicans in Congress, just endorsed Robby Starbuck, who says he’s running against Jim. [[link removed]]

Cawthorn is one of Donald Trump’s favorite members of Congress. He spoke at the January 6th rally, trumpeted Trump’s “Big Lie” about election fraud, and even voted to overturn the election after the Capitol was attacked by insurrectionists.

That’s why it’s no surprise that he endorsed Starbuck, who peddled election conspiracy theories ahead of the attack on the Capitol on January 6.

To make things worse, Starbuck doesn’t even live in Tennessee’s 5th congressional district. He lives in Williamson County, but he has vowed to move to run against Jim if necessary.

Now, Starbuck is cozying up to politicians like Madison Cawthorn, who keeps getting caught with far-right conspiracy theorists and white supremacist symbols. Cawthorn is also outspoken about his contempt for immigrants, LGBTQ+ Americans, reproductive rights, affordable health care, and racial justice.

Madison Cawthorn’s views don’t belong in Congress, and they certainly don’t represent Middle Tennessee.
