[ [link removed] ]Katie Porter for Congress
John,
We have breaking news to share: Katie Porter’s race was named one of the
seven tightest 2022 U.S. Congress races to watch in California this week.

This further cements what we’ve already known,
John: The fight for California’s 45th District
is going to be one of the most competitive there is, and we need to show
up and have Katie’s back to keep her in Congress.

before our end-of-quarter fundraising deadline. Every dollar you chip in
will help us get closer to hitting our $125,000 goal, and to post the
strongest public fundraising report possible to the FEC. ›››

We’re no longer at the point where potential threats to Katie’s seat are
hypothetical, John.
Not only has the NRCC named Katie as a candidate on their “target list”
for 2022, but there are also now six Republican opponents who have entered
the race with the goal of unseating Katie and flipping our district red.
Plenty of resources have already been invested into flipping CA-45, and
there’s likely to be more on the way. Our opponents are hoping to see
Katie’s support and momentum fizzle out. And if we can’t keep up with our
fundraising goals this year—especially for a big fundraising goal like the
end-of-quarter—it could signal to them that their hopes are coming true.
[ [link removed] ]Katie needs your support to guarantee she’ll be ready to fight
back, John.
Can you commit to standing with us by chipping in $3 or
whatever you can to our campaign? Help us reach our $125,000
end-of-quarter fundraising goal, and let’s show Katie’s opponents that
she—and the movement we’ve built together—isn’t going anywhere.
More soon,
Katie Porter HQ
