In just 2 days we close the books on our next official FEC fundraising deadline. After that, we’ll report our numbers for the world to see.
This month, our average contribution sits at $18 apiece.
If every person who reads this email chipped in $18 today, we would CRUSH our deadline goal. It wouldn’t even be close.
But we understand that not everyone can donate just because we ask, which is why it’s especially important for you to do so if you can. So we’re asking:
The fossil fuel giants and their powerful lobbyists in Washington have virtually endless resources. Their pockets are deep and they’re not shy about putting them to work to defeat a Green New Deal and our whole progressive agenda.
We, on the other hand, grow our movement raising money $3, $10, and $18 at a time.
That may seem like a big mismatch, and it is. But we are telling you the truth when we say it adds up to more than they could ever have: We have the grassroots, people-powered support of an entire movement standing with us.
So with the clock ticking ahead of this week’s deadline, we’re asking for your support:
