John – the national news is busy reporting what a busy week it is for Congress and that’s 100% true. Gwen is working night and day to further Biden’s agenda with the bipartisan infrastructure bill and the Build Back Better package while avoiding a government shutdown and raising the debt ceiling. We need your help to keep a progressive champion like Gwen on the front lines.  Donate using this secure link: [link removed]

What you probably don’t see on the national news is Gwen is also doing.

On Sunday, Gwen visited Wisconsin’s Ft. McCoy that recently received thousands of Afghan refugees. Gwen and Rep. Omar wanted to ensure that the Afghan refugees were being treated with dignity and respect. Further, she joined with the Congressional Black Caucus in condemning the treatment of Haitian refugees seeking asylum. All people should be treated with dignity and respect.

“Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free. These are the words mounted on the pedestal of the Statue of Liberty, and they could not be more true in the early 1900s than they are now.” -Gwen Moore

These are American values and we need to make sure we keep Gwen’s voice in Congress. Can you help?

Our FEC deadline is rapidly approaching, and we only need $3,221 to meet our September goal. Will you pitch in any amount you’re able to now to help us close the gap? Donate using this secure link: [link removed]

Thank you in advance! I’ll let Gwen know you stepped up.
