much of that promise hasn't been realized.
That's why
Sheila Nezhad is running for mayor.
Sheila was at the center of the uprisings in Minneapolis and the work to reimagine public safety. She helped create the charter amendment that's now on the ballot to disband the institutionalized racism in the Minneapolis police force and create a Department of Public Safety. Now, her race for mayor is one of the biggest in 2021.
