The new NBA season began last night. But the headline was not the Lakers losing to the Clippers.
The headline is continued protests of the NBA kowtowing to China over Pro-democracy demonstrations in Hong Kong.

Support Free Speech
When millionaire athletes and coaches like Lebron James and Steve Kerr want to criticize President Trump, we might not like it, but we recognize it is their first Amendment right as Americans.
But when other members of the NBA dare support democracy in Hong Kong, the NBA was in full court press, putting the League’s billion-dollar business interests over the First Amendment rights of Americans.
NBA cannot be offended when political commentators told them to “shut up and dribble” while at the same time NBA superstars called support for pro-democracy protests “misinformed.”
