| Friends,
The Children’s Health Insurance Program, or CHIP, is a program that gives nine million American children access to healthcare every year. Half of Alaska’s children have access to healthcare because of CHIP.

CHIP has had bipartisan support since it was passed in 1997. Yet, as Washington so often does, they’ve made this issue a partisan political battle. In 2017, Congress let funding lapse while they focused on tax breaks for the wealthy, leaving families uncertain if they would have access to the healthcare they need.

Healthcare for kids should be bigger than politics. Add your name and demand Congress expand CHIP now»
Funding for CHIP should be expanded, not cut. Every Alaskan parent should be able to take the child to the doctor without fearing bankruptcy. As a nation, we have an obligation to look out for our kids.
Add your name to tell Washington that we need solutions, not bickering» Thank you for joining us in this fight.
 Best,
 Alyse Galvin
