Dear Friend,

I hope you will join me at 2pm ET on Wednesday [[link removed]] to discuss discrimination against Americans at Israeli ports of entry during our weekly Coffee & Column conversation.

As you may know, Israel is once again asking to be included in the U.S. Visa Waiver Program which allows temporary visitors to come to the United States without nonimmigrant visas. These privileges are meant to encourage tourism and ease business travel. Key to the Visa Waiver Program is a provision that guarantees reciprocal travel privileges for American citizens seeking to visit that country. Based on the history of discrimination in Israel’s immigration practices, Israel does not meet the statutory requirements of the Visa Waiver Program.

For nearly 40 years, AAI has brought the treatment of American citizens of Arab descent by the Government of Israel to the attention of U.S. government officials and agencies. We have only been able to do this because you've shared your stories with us. So, we ask once more, if you were discriminated against by Israel at the border, please share your story with AAI if you have not already. You may choose to remain anonymous. All you need to do to share your story is to click here and complete the form [[link removed]] .

In case you missed it, you can read the column here [[link removed]] .

Please register here [[link removed]] to receive the dial-in information for the Zoom call on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. ET. After you register, you will automatically get the dial-in information for the call. And again, you may share any discrimination you've experienced at Israeli ports of entry by filling out our form here [[link removed]] .

Regards,

Jim Zogby
