If you didn’t know, the Ohio Senate race is one of the most important
races we have to protect and expand our razor-thin Democratic majority.
We CAN flip this state blue, but it will take a special type of Democratic
candidate to unite Ohio and bring voters out to the polls.
The good news is that we have a golden opportunity to elect just the type
of progressive Democratic candidate who will fight the good fight, vote
YES on key legislation, and fight for their constituents — you might’ve

* Morgan was in the foster care system growing up and even after she was
adopted, she faced housing insecurity. Morgan didn’t have an easy
childhood, but neither do most Americans. Morgan can intimately relate
to the struggles of hard working families trying to make ends meet —
and that’s why she continues to fight wholeheartedly for families just
like hers.
* Morgan fought hard to protect consumers against predatory lenders at
the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
* While at the the American Economic Liberties Project, a non-profit,
Morgan testified before Congress on the unchecked power of Big Tech
and fought to break up corporate monopolies across the economy.
* Morgan co-founded the non-profit Columbus Stand Up! to give back to
her community. Columbus Stand Up! has delivered over 30,000 masks,
driven voters to polls in the 2020 election, and transported hundreds
of people to their COVID-19 vaccine appointments.
Morgan has been firm in her progressive stances and advocacy against
corporate power. She has not flip-flopped on anything — whether it’s
reproductive rights, her commitment to Ohio’s communities, or rejecting
corporate corruption.
Morgan consistently lives her values. This is not just a political
platform for her. Meanwhile, her political opponents — like J.D. Vance —
take million-dollar donations from Big Tech CEOs.
