I'm writing with an update on the latest news about redistricting here in Pennsylvania.

Last time PA's Republican-lead state legislature redrew my district, the result was an egregious attempt to make a Democrat hand their office keys over to another Republican. I'm absolutely certain they will try to play this same dirty trick on me very soon.

We will fight the GOP in the courts if we need to, which is why we've already launched our Litigation Fund.

But we have just two days until the September 30 Federal Election Commission filing deadline. When my fundraising numbers go public soon after this Thursday, the GOP will comb through every page for any sign of weakness.

While dozens of people have rushed to donate to our Litigation Fund, we're still $5,156 short. And if we can't make up the difference in the next two days, the Pennsylvania GOP will suspect it's because my campaign is weak.

John, I could really use your help right now. I need to bolster my fundraising before Thursday to prove my campaign's strength. The GOP must see that my supporters—like you, John!— are watching my back.

I'm coming to you directly because you've been there for me when I've needed it most. Will you please chip in whatever you can to help us meet our goal before Thursday's FEC deadline?
