We are now a few days away from a very important fundraising deadline. With your help, we can show national and state republicans that eastern Connecticut is OFF LIMITS.

I’m hard at work in Congress advancing President Biden’s Build Back Better Agenda. 

But opponents are gathering in eastern Connecticut and already starting their campaigns to run against me next year. Washington republicans are laser focused on winning back the House in 2022 and they are watching districts like ours closely for any opening. That is why I am asking for your help today. I have set an ambitious $20,000 grassroots fundraising goal.  Can you contribute before the September 30th deadline to show our shared resolve?

In addition to setting a date to pass a transformational bipartisan infrastructure plan that will invest in our state’s roads, bridges, rail and transit systems, we are putting the pieces in place to pass the Build Back Better Act to help families and businesses in our nation recover and rebuild. 

This package will:

• Create jobs through support to new clean technologies, research and development, manufacturing and small businesses
• Unlock the full economic potential of working parents through expansion of affordable child care and pre-k education 
• Cut taxes by extending the Child Tax Credit, which has already helped 40 million families receive a tax cut 
• Lowers costs for the biggest pressures facing American families, such as medicine, home care, higher education and child care
